2022 continues to be a very challenging year and while we have kept disruptions to a minimum, we still face a lot of uncertainty.
We have been advised that as of this month the rates of both ferries, of which we use to ship our trailers, will increase due to an increase in costs.
The increase in costs is simply too great for Falcotrans to absorb and for this reason we would like to bring to your attention that as of 21/03/2022 the rates for your shipments will change as follows:
- An increase of 4% to current surcharge. (Total Surcharge will be 19%)
- An increase of €120 on full load trailer imports.
We would like to make it clear that this change in surcharge will be reviewed should any of the ferry companies decide to review the current increase.
We understand that these are very challenging times and Falcotrans will continue to work in order to maintain the level of service you have become accustomed to.
